Setting up camp on a decommissioned aircraft carrier in a scrapyard, Angel Dust watched as Ajax prepared to kill Vanessa with another oxygen deprivation chamber until Deadpool, accompanied by Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead, arrived to stop them. After she stitched him up, the two of them went out to go hunt Wade down, eventually learning of and abducting his fiancée Vanessa Carlysle. Unbeknownst to the two of them however, Wade would survive the Workshop's destruction due to his healing factor and spend the next year hunting Ajax as the costumed vigilante known as Deadpool.Ībout a year later, Angel Dust was working at the Workshop when Ajax walked in, bloodied from having encountered Deadpool on the way back. Although they were ultimately successful in getting Wade to mutate, he would escape soon after and destroy the Workshop, forcing Ajax and Angel Dust to move their business elsewhere. One day, when Wade Wilson wound up on their table after having been diagnosed with terminal cancer, Angel Dust was charged with torturing him in the hopes of triggering a mutation.
